Holiday Tree Lighting a Wonderful Event

A tree lighting and caroling party culminated a wonderful weekend of holiday festivities at Holcomb Farm last Sunday evening, December 6. Our own Jill Ford led the crowd gathered around the beautifully lit tree in song with her gorgeous voice, filling the great outdoors with both inspiring and fun music, from Silent Night to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Raindeer. The sweet, smiling faces of children singing their favorites showed us all the magic of Christmas!

The tree lighting ceremony topped off the Granby Artists Association Small Works arts and crafts show, which went on all weekend at the Farm. What a wonderful place to pick up beautiful and unique gifts for everyone on your list! Several of the artists remarked that this year’s show was very successful, with a lot of busy shoppers snapping up knit scarves, framed prints, jewelry and other hand-crafted items.
