Two Coyotes Wilderness School

Two Coyotes Wilderness School is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurture healthy, whole human beings through building self-awareness, community, and connecting people to nature.  They use the grounds at Holcomb Farm in their outdoor programs for children.  “We use wilderness survival, wildlife tracking, and naturalist skills as tools that help us to better understand ourselves and our place in the world.  There is a growing body of scientific evidence concluding that contact with nature is essential to the healthy development of children’s brains and bodies.  At Two Coyotes, we support people in becoming happy healthy and whole.”

Granby Early Childhood Council: Kids Play, You Stay!

Join the Granby Youth Service Bureau and the Granby Early Childhood Council  for this free weekly group.  Geared for children from birth to those getting ready to start kindergarten, the children engage in age appropriate play while caregivers network, utilize Youth Service Bureau staff and each other to discuss issues and concerns, gather information, or simply relax with other adults in a setting that allows the use of complete sentences!

Weekly sessions typically include a craft or activity for the children, a cup of coffee for the adults, snacks for the little ones and once a month or so a brief topical discussion facilitated by YSB and GECC staff.

Drop in – Wednesday Mornings 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Holcomb Farm Main Barn.
